PREFACE
The purpose of this file is
to list those persons who have died and were buried in and around Big Piney and
LaBarge, Wyoming area or those who grew up in the area. The Big Piney Cemetery is known as the
Plainview Cemetery. The LaBarge Cemetery
is called Viola Cemetery. Other known
cemeteries were the Cottonwood, Ball, and Nichols cemeteries. These were mainly private cemeteries located
on ranches in the surrounding area.
The records are those kept by
the Sexton of the Plainview Cemetery.
Many burial dates and some death, birth and names were added by the
research of Anna Lee Gray Woffinden.
In order to comply with the
1974 Act of Privacy, the birth dates of those still living or thought to be
living have been removed.
