Christensen built this home in 1925 where he and his wife lived until
his death in the 1950s. Jim and Kathy Lambert bought it in 1960.
It belonged to several other families before Tonja and Tom Bell became
the present owners.
Nelse and his brother, Yense, came to this country from Denmark. Yense worked for many years on a ranch near Daniel, while Nelse, a wonderful carpenter, settled in Big Piney. He built the old Boulder store, the home of Elizabeth Chapel, later owned by Rex Burnham and now by Kurt and Jennifer Meeks, and several other buildings. He was a partner with Frank Burney in the Burney store until his death. |
