                                                                (Photo courtesy of Frank Willoughby) These men were working on the South Cottonwood dam site, a WPA project which was never finished.  The Count is seated in front.  The rest of them from the left are Bill Hano, Johnny Johnson whose gravestone has written on it "The last of the Cottonwood Finns," Gus Hittla in back, two unknowns, Osmo Ranta, Joe Bradley, Matt Kahuse in back, one unknown, Mr. Billings in the hat, Frank Tracy in the apron, Orville Mills of Middle Piney, Hays the assistant superintendent and Jack Budd the superintendent.
